We are excited to announce the call for Scientific Symposia for the upcoming NeuroAlliance 2026 Joint Meeting from 29 November - 2 December 2026 in Sydney, Australia.
Please read the submission requirements and Guidelines carefully before applying. Each symposium should feature four speakers and two chairs.
Proposals will be accepted in EventsAir from current ANS, ACNS, and/or BPA members. Please provide a concise overview of the symposium (150 words max), outlining the main themes and objectives and alignment to ANS, BPA and ACNS interests. Highlight the significance of the topic within the field of neuroscience and the unique perspectives each speaker will bring.
You will also need to detail what each speaker will discuss (200 words/speaker max). Preference will be given to symposium proposals with clear relevance to the interests of all three societies (ANS, ACNS, and BPA). Ensure gender balance and the inclusion of one or more early-/mid-career researchers (<10 years post-PhD) in the proposed speakers.
Priority will be given to symposia proposals that emphasise diversity and inclusion, including career stage and cultural and linguistic diversity of speakers (refer to the NeuroAlliance 2026 Diversity and Inclusion Statement in the Symposia Policy and Guidelines).
