
The XV Meeting of the International Basal
Ganglia Society (IBAGS) will be held in Ōtepoti Dunedin, New Zealand on
December 6-10, 2026.
The Meeting is a multidisciplinary event gathering both basic and clinical scientists, including established investigators, young research leaders, postdoctoral fellows, and students.
With a conference theme of ‘Advances in global understanding of the basal ganglia across health and disease” IBAGS XV has wide appeal for all scientists interested in the basal ganglia, and their related neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative disorders.
Dunedin is easily accessed via flights into Queenstown or Christchurch, followed by a scenic road trip or short flight. An ideal addition to a trip down under for international attendees at NeuroAlliance 2026.
